 Music MinistryList Item 1The Diocesan Choir will sing for all major liturgical events celebrated by Bishop Caggiano. Rehearsals will be held on Monday evenings at St. Augustine Cathedral, Bridgeport beginning in October. The choir is open to singers of High School age and older. Prior musical experience and the ability to read music is helpful, but not required. All adult participants must be in full compliance with the Diocesan Safe Environments Policy, including Virtus Certification. Contact the choir director. Spanish choir practice every Thursday at 7:00 p.m.at St Augustine.

 Men's GroupList Item 2All men are welcome! Meetings are held every Thursday evening from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. Join us for coffee, socialization, and engaging (no pressure) conversation about our faith in a relaxed environment. Questions? Please email the coordinator for future dates.

 Women's GuildList Item 3The Women’s Guild at St. Cathedral Parish is a group of women dedicated to participating in the corporal and spiritual works of mercy of our parish and community. If you are a woman 18 to 108, the Women’s Guild is for you! If you are interested in joining the Women’s Guild please contact Catherine Braisted, president by emailing oneill378@aol.com.

 Tuesday Night Prayer GroupList Item 4Join us Tuesday nights at 7 pm in the St Patrick's Chapel to read and reflect upon the upcoming Sunday’s Gospel, Liturgy of the Hours (books provided for new members), and prayer (intercessory, and alternating Rosary or Divine Mercy). Contact the coordinator.

 Pro-Life RosaryUnite as a community praying the Rosary for the sanctity of all life from conception until natural death. Meditative hymns are sung, along with the recitation of the Rosary. No experience required. Mentors provided. Contact the coordinators.

 Altar ServerBoys and girls from grade 3 and above who assist the priest at the liturgy.

 Eucharistic AdorationMonday - Fridays from 11:00AM to 12:00PM. The Blessed Sacrament is exposed and adored for one hour before Mass.

 Baptism PreparationPreparing parents for the formation of their child’s faith. Parents are required to attend a set of 3 Baptism preparation classes. You will receive more information during the intake meeting. Contact the parish office here for upcoming Baptism preparation classes

 Eucharistic MinisterExtraordinary Ministers of Communion who serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass and to the sick and homebound.

 Finance CouncilAdvises the Pastor on financial matters of the parish. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets.

 Fellowship CommitteeVolunteers who coordinate social activities and gatherings of parishioners during the year.

 Offertory CountersA group that counts the funds collected at Mass each week. Each group volunteers about once a month.

 Flowers and GroundsVolunteers who care for and beautify the grounds and church.

 GreetersParish volunteers who warmly welcome parishioners as they enter the Church for Mass.

 LectorReader who proclaim the Scriptures at Mass and other services.

 Senior Altar ServerMen and women who assist at Mass or Funeral masses to enhance the worship of our faith community.

 Liturgical Linen ServiceResponsible for the preparation and care of the altar linens. This includes the washing and ironing of purificators, corporals, and altar linens.

 RCIARite of Christian Initiation – preparation of adult candidates for Catholic sacraments.

 UsherVolunteers who assist people to their seat if necessary. They also take up the collection.

 SacristanDuties include preparing the altar for Mass and cleaning the altar following Mass.
